SPARKS, Nev., November 04, 2016 – Sierra Nevada Corporation’s (SNC) wholly-owned subsidiary, Kutta Technologies, Inc. (Kutta) has announced plans to open an office in Huntsville, Alabama in close proximity to the Redstone Arsenal military base. Kutta is a leader in unmanned systems technologies with a focus on innovative products that include a scalable, open-architecture, Unified Ground Control Station (GCS), a Manned/Unmanned Teaming Kit (MUM-TK), innovative multi-UAS control and comprehensive DO-178B/C software certification services.
“Kutta is excited to be opening an office here in Huntsville to directly support our customers within the Army and larger Huntsville community,” said Douglas Limbaugh, Kutta’s chief operating officer. “We’ve always wanted to open an office here when we were a small company, and the acquisition of Kutta by SNC made it possible,” Limbaugh added.

Tim Owings, the former Deputy Project Manager Tech Chief, and now corporate vice president of SNC’s Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) said that a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at a later date to commemorate Kutta’s expanded presence in Huntsville.
